NURS 6051 Interaction Between Nurse Informaticists and Other Specialists

Hi Danielle, your post was very informative and I enjoyed reading every aspect of your post. Reflecting on a particular caption of your post, it is true that  the continued emergence of new technologies within health care will have an immense impact on professional interactions . With advent of new technologies, the nurse informaticist is able to leverage data analysis and produce new evidence-based knowledge to resolving clinical problems  (Laurate Education, 2018). The advent of the novel Corona virus pandemic has led to the development of new clinical solutions such is telehealth/telemedicine which allows patients to be consulted and treated at the comfort of their homes. This new development creates avenue for interprofessional collaboration because it promote data sharing amongst the health professionals to enhance patient outcomes ( Sipes, C. 2016). Additionally, the roll of Covid Vaccines have also increased the relevance of the nurse informaticist. The technology specialist play a via role collection and  analysis data on the compliance of patients to vaccination and ensure reporting of data to Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for the purpose of budgeting and planning.
